ABOUT LEACHACHAN BARN
Leachachan Barn is on the southern shores of Loch Duich in the Western Highlands of Scotland.
Once used as a byre for working horses, the barn has been redesigned and transformed into a modern house which has retained much of its original character.
The barn has a double height, open plan living area with kitchen and dining, heated by a wood burning stove. There are large picture windows with breathtaking views out over the loch and towards the Five Sisters of Kintail.
The king size master bedroom also has views over the loch and the bathroom with shower is next to the bedroom.
Upstairs on the mezzanine floor is a further sleeping area with two beds and a sofabed. There is also a tv area which overlooks the main room.
Entrance to the property is through the boot room, the modern extension to the rear of the property, which has plenty of room for boots and coats and has washing and drying facilities.
The garden has spectacular views across Loch Duich and also has a wooden summerhouse.
Homes & Interiors Scotland Magazine recently ran an article on Leachachan Barn, you can read what they had to say here.
